A set of sturdy poles that are actually lighter than they look. The strongest of any tested, too. The grips are easy to get on with, with an ergonomic forward-leaning shape that not only sits well in your hand, but also has a good shape for gripping across the top on descents. The flip-up strap adjustment is an excellent feature and by far the most effective way of shortening the wrist straps without risking them slipping. The Speed Lock system between the sections is excellent, but does add a little bulk to the lower sections. These poles take the victory due to their solid construction coupled with well thought-out features.
