The North Face Meridian Convertible

£45.00

A great fit – ticking all the boxes at the waist, with belt loops, elastic panels and a drawcord. The nylon fabric is very comfortable against the skin, and the zips used to remove the legs are so well designed that you don’t really notice them when walking. Wind-resistant and incredibly quick-drying, these are ideal for most UK hillwalking conditions. Storage is excellent with large, yet reasonably subtle, cargo pockets, and a rear pocket that doubles as a stuffsack.

Colours: New taupe, asphalt grey, dune beige
Sizes: S-XL, regular/long leg lengths
Fabric: Meridian (100% nylon)
Main features: Zip-off legs, multi-pockets (including front mesh) part-elasticated waist with drawcord, fly and belt loops, DWR, UPF 30+
Women’s version: Yes
Contact: 01539 738882, www.thenorthface.com/eu

Verdict: Top-notch trousers that are incredibly versatile in fit and function. The cargo pockets may not suit all but, at this price, you’ll struggle to find better.

I love these kex. I've been on the tops in howling gales and the wind just doesn't get in. They dry quickly too. The fabric is soft, cool in the warm and warm in the cold. I bought them to replace some craghopper trousers that were too heavy and saggy, these are perfect.
