Who is 'us' anyway?
Call us sentimental, but we like to think it's a combination of us who work in a rather incongruous strip-lit business unit on the edge of Peterborough, dreaming of better places, the readers of our magazines Trail and Country Walking, and whoever comes our way via the flotsam-littered seas of Google in search of high land and like-minds. Our intention is to offer a meeting place and a knowledge cairn for all those who love the outdoors.
Thanks to our two magazines (if you don't know them, Country Walking's the best-selling outdoor mag in the UK and Trail's the number 1 mountain mag) we've got a bunch of hill info, gear reviews and a contacts book filled with people who know about stuff. But that's only a start. Most of the really good stuff is out there, in your head. The enthusiasm, the experiences, the expertise. So toss those rocks on our cairn, please, and help turn it into a heap the view from whose summit stretches from horizon to horizon, in this promised land we call the outdoors.
