10/10.

Superb story of the part played by brave volunteer Muslim Tunisian, Moroccan and Algerian soldiers in the French Army's allied effort to defeat the Nazis, Alhamdullilah.

A very moving story and well worth watching.

Is it available in mainstream movie rental stores?

 

The Wildest Dream - 8/10

Apollo 18 - 5/10  average

I bought mine for £1.99 from Junction 32 outlet at Castleford, West Yorkshire, but I found this rental link which I think is a mainstream outfit -

The Inbetweeners movie. Very funny in parts, but i found the plot very predictable. Enjoyed it though, 8/10.

I actually enjoyed Stardust. De Niro is great as the transvestite pirate.

The best quote, though is: "Do you know, Humphrey's going all the way to Ipswich to buy me a ring?"

Made me laugh (but that's probably only because I live five miles from Ipswich).

The Hangover Part 2 - 5/10, Funny in places otherwise just a copy of the first one but based in Thailand.

As far as christmas films go, Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life" is a proper seasonal masterpiece

And as for its a wonderful life.

I hadn't seen it until a couple of years ago, when I sat down expecting a real treat

Cheddar Wensleydale Caerphilly Lancashire Cheshire Gouda Edam Y Fenni Jarlsberg Comte Parmesan Mozarella, Stilton Double Gloucester, Red leicester, Brie, Camembert, Roquefort, sage Derby, Dovedale, Stinking Bishop, Gorgonzola, Danish Blue, Emmenthal, Gruyere

I was so diappointed, I couldn't believe what a massive cheese fest it was.  I'm really sorry because I know alot of people love it but it really didn't touch me at all.

The history is quite interesting. It was a biyt of a flop in cinemas, but then American TV networks got it cheap and played it and played it until it built up its current status.

I love Princess Bride.. Brilliant, brilliant film.. But better than Jaws,  Fight Club or The Matrix?

And that's leaving aside films like StarWars and Back to the Future (which appeal most to a certain age group).

Yeah, It's a Wonderful Life is pure cheese (The person hyping it should have let you know that before you watched).. but it is still one of the best xmas films of all time.
