HUMAN EXCREMENT all over the place! Once you get over that, you will add to it before you leave!

(and, if your lucky, a few cider-stinking local teenagers having sex)

Daren, happy to take a risk!

Not slept in it but had plenty of teabreaks in it,as bothy's go its quite tidy usually.there are raised areas to kip on,quite narrow so dont be rolling off, better to kip on the floor,no fireplace though & there's room enough for a bus load.

Exactly how I remember it from a brief stop in June when the weather was decidedly dreadful

Its an ok bothy. Can be abused a bit sometimes by large groups. Honister Slate Mine actually own the bothy. You can always enquire with them at reception to check there are no group bookings.

Ya don't wanna turn up there late at night and find the place full to the brim as happened to me once! 3am I turned up!!!! Arrrrgggh!!!

However.......

Keep ya eyes peeled.....theres a much much better bothy in the same square mile of Dubs Hut.

Couple of images of Dubs Bothy for you. Instead of a fire try a little Scotch in your hip flask.

Dubs Hut is easy to find. Sticks out like a sore thumb when walking in the area.

The other? The window and fireplace? I could give you a grid ref. Just PM me if you're interested in it
