Access to Cwm Cywion via Bwlch y Cywion???

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge as to the accessibility of Cwm Cywion (SH632605), North of Y Garn, from Bwlch y Cywion (SH628609)?

It looks like it may be possible to descend into the Cwm but the map suggests there is a boundary to be to negotiated first. Can this be done, or is it better to avoid the descent completely from this ridge and attack the Cwm from Idwal cottage?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

The North Face aluminium 0.6L Sigg bottle

This clearly isn't a new product. In fact it's probably the most famous drinking bottle in the world. What's more, most people reading this blog probably already own one.

But don't you just love them?

I've owned three aluminium Sigg bottles over the last decade and loved every single one of them. I lost the first one, lent the second to a friend who never gave it back, and have battered and beaten the third one into near submission over the last few years - but it's still going strong.

The beauty of Sigg bottles is their simplicity. They're made ...

Discussion - The Future Landscape

An old potato that warrants re-stoking given recent news...
...but being outdoors-loving folk, how do we all feel about this?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-27012684

All for it? Kinda like the look of windfarms and on board with their motive?

Or aghast at the potential forests of turbines destined to clutter our mountains?
Clearly something must be done. Does anyone dare mention the 'n' word (that is, 'nuclear...')

Let us know your thoughts on this!
