Hi.I'm in the process of buying all new gear as I've been "absent" for 10 years or so. BUT I'm really struggling to find some decent but not extortionate trousers for my short legs (27"). Please help!

Regatta, Craghoppers and Wynnster all do trousers in a short length - and they shouldn't break the bank as prices start from £30.
If you're still having trouble finding the perfect fit then give Keela a ring on 01592 777000 - they offer an alteration service with prices from about a tenner for shortening trousers. The Paraguay Zip-Offs at £34.95 come highly recommended.

I have Peter Storm short length convertibles, inexpensive and a great fit as I'm a bit of a podge as well as being short.

Re: Who makes trousers with short leg lengths?
craghoppers (kiwi range in particular, but also some of the pika trousers) are good for this, providing a short and long version of every size a very limited amount of berghaus trousers have short sizes aswell, although i think they might have either discontinued short and long sizes, or made it only special or direct order rather than off the rail on the high street. if i notice any more whilst at work i'll let you know

I''m looking for a decent flask. I've tried several but they're not keeping warm for long even after pre-warming. I'm going om MT winter skills course in 5 weeks so need to get something good for then.
