How can I fix hard-to-adjust trekking poles?
By Anonymous
Condensation can build inside poles. Over time, this oxidises and leaves a white crust, which you need to remove. Take the poles apart and use a nylon scouring pad to smooth rough areas. Wipe down with a wet cloth and leave to dry thoroughly before re-assembling. Don’t oil: poles rely on friction to lock.

I''m looking for a decent flask. I've tried several but they're not keeping warm for long even after pre-warming. I'm going om MT winter skills course in 5 weeks so need to get something good for then.
