Are there any last-minute preparations I should do before a tough scramble route?
By Anonymous
Ever do stretches before and after a walk? Yes, it looks ridiculous. And, yes, any passing children will point and laugh. But if you’re about to set off on your first real scramble, do yourself a favour: find a deep thicket, hide inside, and try to remember all of those leg and arm stretches you were taught the last time you joined a gym. You’ll look far sillier if you spend all of the next day walking down stairs like a tin soldier.

What scrambling grades are Central and Custs Gulley on Great End, in summer conditions, and how long do they take?
