What’s the oldest orange in the world?

Answer

By Anonymous

A 116-year-old dried-up orange from the lunchbox of a fatally injured miner has just gone on display in The Potteries Museum, Staffordshire. Joseph Roberts’ family kept the fruit in memory of the 37 year old after he was killed in a pre-lunch explosion at a Stoke-on-Trent colliery in 1891. The pips still rattle.

The answer is in the question. World is an anagram of Drowl - the well known genetic ancestor of what we now know today as an Orange.
