I’m allergic to most deodorants. Are any natural alternatives available?

Answer

There are a number of crystal salt deodorants that still allow you to sweat but prevent the build-up of bacteria that cause odour. You have to wet the stone and then wipe it on your underarm. The key benefits are that they don’t contain aluminium compounds and they don’t block pores. Look out for products from PitRok (www.pitrok.co.uk) and Crystal Spring (www. thecrystal.com) which are often available in your local health food shop.

This is another possible alternative also.  Not used it myself so can't speak for it's efficacy

I use Aromaco from Lush which is patchouli based, but they have about half a dozen to choose from. They're organic and cruelty-free and they work.

Try www.lush.co.uk - don't think it's .com. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians too! Never tried them myself, but many deodorants cause me a nasty rash - am OK with Mitchum (the spray) and dove.

BIONSEN is Japanese Spa Minerals, and is from a well known high ST chemist. It is Aluminium free, and is for sensitive skin, you can get it in roll-on and stick Deodorant.
