Gear rattling in your backpack is enough to drive anyone to distraction and stoves are one of the worst culprits. Strangely, the angle at which it's stuffed in your pack can affect how much it rattles so try shifting it around, and always wedge it in with spare fleeces to keep it steady and muffle the banging.  If it's still irritating, pack the stove up with a tea-towel - it's thin enough to go in the gaps and gives you something to dry up with after dinner too.

Try putting it in an old sock, that'll stop the rattle

I use a cleaning cloth, tea coffee etc. Anything i can shove inside it, and will compliment the cooking, or cleaning.

I stuff tea bags, packet soups, coffee sachets and half a sponge inside my Trangia. There is also just enough room to squeeze a spork under the lid above the pans. You will have to bend the spork a little but as it expands it holds the inner contents in place. Careful as I broke my first spork trying too hard to fit it under the lid. I am now 1 spork no rattle.

As ptc says, wrap it in a travel towel if u carry one then stick it in your cooking pot, thats what i do.

You can stick in in your pot and surround it with sugar and coffee ( in little bags ) to stop it rattling too.

Wrap it in Buf, or a PackTowel. Fill the gaps with drinks sachets an' that.
